Two Boise lawyers who specialize in civil trials have left their firms to handle complex, high-stakes litigation.
Steven Andersen and Thomas Banducci will be joined at Andersen Banducci PLLC by Benjamin Schwartzman, Wade Woodard, Amanda Brailsford, Jennifer Schrack Dempsey, Brent Bastian and associates Dara Labrum Parker and Tim Kurtz. The attorneys will pursue lawsuits and defend against them. Their record include verdicts and settlements worth more than $400 million.
Woodard and Schwartzman worked with Banducci at his previous law firm. Dempsey and Parker also were associates there.
The lawyers specialize in conflicts that arise in a range of industries, including agribusiness, insurance and banking, intellectual property and claims related to labor and employment law.
"Were especially adept at providing unique insights into the motivation and strategies of our clients' opponents and at presenting complex facts and cases to juries in a compelling, persuasive manner," Banducci said in a prepared statement. Banducci said the firm can help "keep clients out of litigation in the first place"
Banducci's firm represented plaintiffs who won a more than $50 million jury verdict against Saint Alphonsus Health System in a lawsuit related to MRI partnerships. He has practiced law in Idaho since 1979. Andersen has been a lawyer in Idaho since 1980.
The new office will be in the U.S. Bank Plaza at 101 S. Capitol Blvd. in Downtown Boise.
