This edition’s special coverage of the local commercial real estate market makes this a good time for me to extend an invitation to commercial real estate professionals across the Treasure Valley: If you close a deal, tell us about it.
Who’s Doing What, the listings in the back of Business Insider, includes a section called Who’s Moving. It lists businesses that have bought or leased office, retail or industrial space in existing or planned buildings. It also lists changes in ownership of those properties.
We depend on people like you to alert us to these. We need the names of the parties on both sides of the transaction, a brief description of the business moving into the space, and the names of the agents and firms involved in the deal. If the building or space has become well-known for another business that has moved or closed, tell us that too. See this week’s listings on page 27 for examples.
Some agents already make regular use of this forum to share the news of deals they helped make. Some never do. It’s you absentees I want to enlist today.
