Sen. Jim Risch has announced his nominations to the United States military academies for the 2013 school year. The nominees were selected from dozens of applicants and will now be considered by each of the four academies for final selection.

Local applicants are:

Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo has also announced his nominations of 58 Idaho students to military service academies for the freshman class entering in 2013. The students’ applications are now being considered by four of the U.S. service academies, where final selections will be made.
