Maya, 1, is a boxer mix with a lot of love to give. A writeup from two shelter volunteers, highlights Mayas qualities: Maya makes them laugh; she is a goofy looking boxer mix with a silly personality. At one year, she is still very much a puppy and loves to play. She is people friendly and her former owner said she is good with kids.
She is housebroken and light on a leash. Her former owner also said that she knows sit, stay, lie down, and wait.
Maya can be picky with her canine friends, so it is recommended that any new potential housemates come in for a meet and greet to see if their personalities mesh.
Maya is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
Maya is in kennel number 24 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday.
