Jesse, 2, is a neutered male, black and white, border collie and pointer or Labrador mix.

Jesse is a handsome, easygoing dog. He arrived at the IHS as a transfer from an overcrowded smaller shelter. Jesse is housetrained and rides well in the car. He gets along well with children and other dogs, but does need a cat-free home. Jesse is a polite, delightful dog. He is always cheerful and socialable with everyone he meets. He will make a terrific companion or family dog. He knows how to sit on command, but he’s eager to learn more, especially if food rewards are involved. Please allow him to live inside with his people.

Jesse can be found in kennel 312 (#18901179) at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
