Martin Luther King Jr./Idaho Human Rights Day closures in the Treasure Valley

What’s open and closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr./Idaho Human Rights Day:

• Schools in the Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, Vallivue and Middleton school districts will be closed. Melba schools will be open.

• Boise State University and administrative offices will be closed.

• All county, state and federal offices will be closed. The cities of Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Garden City, Eagle, Star, and Nampa will be closed. Caldwell city offices will be open..

• All local libraries in Boise, Eagle, Nampa, Meridian, Garden City and Ada County will be closed.

• Allied Waste in Ada and Canyon counties, Sanitary Services in Meridian, J & M Sanitation Service in Kuna and Benjamin’s Rural Disposal in rural Canyon County will run on a regular schedule..

• ValleyRide city buses will run normal schedules .

• Post offices will be closed , and no mail, except Express Mail, will be delivered.

• Boise Towne Square and Boise Outlet Mall will be open..

• All state liquor stores will be open. Contract stores may be open.

• Bogus Basin is open..

• Most supermarkets will be open.

• Most banks will be closed, but some in-store branches may be open. Check with your branch.
