Website helps Idaho disabled with jobs

Published: January 18, 2013

Idaho state agencies and non profit groups have launched a website to help people with disabilities find work.

The Idaho State Independent Living Council along with the Idaho Employment for People with Disabilities Stakeholder Group, say the website will connect employers, people with disabilities and people who provide services to the disabled to help with employment.

"I am enthusiastic and hopeful that through our efforts we will make lasting change in employment for individuals with disabilities," said Robbi Barrutia, council executive director. "This is the only website of its kind available in Idaho."

The website was funded through a federal Medicaid grant.
