See Jane Run in Downtown Boise will close

See Jane Run, a women's athletic retail store in Downtown Boise, will close for good Saturday, according to a post on the store's Facebook page.

"We are very grateful for the six fun years we have had here in Boise," the post said.

It did not give a reason for the store closure. A call to the store, which is located at 814 W. Idaho St., was not immediately returned Thursday morning.

A See Jane Run women's half marathon and 5K race scheduled for June 22 in Boise will go on despite the store's closure, the post said, adding, "We are fully committed and are growing our race series."

See Jane Run is based in San Francisco and has three other stores in the Bay Area. The Boise store was the company's only location outside of that area. Store credit, gift certificates and returns will still be valid at the San Francisco stores and on the store's website.

See Jane Run will offer free shipping on all returns over the next month "to make it as seamless as possible for anyone with issues," the Facebook post said.

"We are going to miss our friends in Boise but will see you all when we return in June" for the race, it said.
