The elk foundation recently released its Team Elk Eberlestock backpack that will be featured at banquets and events, and also be sold to the public.
I am honored that we have an opportunity to produce such a quality product in support of RMEF, said Glen Eberle, founder of Eberlestock. We have been involved with RMEF for a number of years and looked for ways to expand and improve our relationship. This pack is a way to benefit both of us.
Weighing 6.8 pounds, the Team Elk pack features a fold-away rifle scabbard, built-in bow carrier, tubular aluminum frame, dual full-depth spotting scope and hydration pockets and grapple-compression straps. It has both front-loading and top-loading access.
At 3,100 cubic inches (40 liters), its small enough to be a daypack, but also works for overnighters and is stout enough to haul heavy loads of meat out of the woods.
This latest, greatest product is the result of a longstanding and trusted relationship between RMEF and Eberlestock, said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of marketing.
We are proud to put the Team Elk name on it, but the pack itself stands on its own as one of the best designed hunting packs in the entire outdoor industry, Decker said. [0x94]
The Team Elk pack will be available at retailers around the country and on the RMEF and Eberlestock websites.
Eberlestock will donate to RMEF a portion of the purchase price of each pack sold. To learn more, go to eberlestock.com.
