Abi Quinnett and Ashley Walters have left the team due to what university officials described as medical issues. I wouldnt say they quit the team, they left because of a medical issue, coach Jon Newlee said. I cant really say more than that because of the privacy laws. Quinnett, who was redshirting this season as a freshman, was the Inland Empire League player of the year at Moscow High. Walters, a 6-foot-4 junior, was one of Idahos top shot-blockers.
IDAHO FOOTBALL: Offensive tackle Jordan Johnson will appear before a judge after drawing a DUI and other charges. The charges included driving without privileges, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Johnson was arrested by the Idaho State Patrol in the early morning of Nov. 25.
