The Armstrong name has taken quite a beating in the sport of cycling with Lance Armstrong’s admission that he used performance enhancing drugs. This Armstrong is a cheater and a liar.

But there is another Armstrong who is a true champion and one who will forever remain as one of the greatest performers ever in the history of cycling. She’s Boise’s own Kristin Armstrong, and there’s no danger of her being forced to give up two Olympic gold medals, one Tour de France championship and other titles she earned during her career. Her accomplishments came the right way — through courage, dedication and hard work.
