Queenie, 6, is a spayed female, brown and white, Boxer and Border Collie mix. Queenie may be of a mature age, but don’t let that make you think she’s old. She’s an active dog that enjoys playing with balls, stuffed and squeaky toys; she loves them all with abandon. Queenie knows several basic obedience commands and could be easily motivated to learn more. She is housetrained and has previously lived as a housedog. Queenie gets along well with other dogs, and her previous owner reports she does well with children.

Queenie is in kennel 404 (#9263175) at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day.
