The Boise State men earned seven titles and the women earned one in their second meet of the season in Nampa on Saturday. Will Lohman won the weight throw (60-5), Manoah Wesson the 400-meters (47.79 seconds), Daveon Collin the 200-meters (21.35), Allan Schroeder the mile (4:20.96), Roderick Townsend the high jump (6-6.75) and Chase Sexton the shot put (57-11.75). The Bronco men (3:26.43) and women (3:54.15) each won the 4x400-meter relay.
BSU WRESTLING: The Broncos went undefeated on the second day at the Virginia Duals in Hampton, Va. Boise State went 4-1 during the event to finish in fifth place out of 16 teams.
IDAHO MENS BASKETBALL: New Mexico State held off a second-half comeback by Idaho for a 71-70 victory in Moscow. Idaho (6-9, 2-3) was down by 15 at halftime, but fell short at the end. Kyle Barone scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Idaho.
IDAHO WOMENS BASKETBALL: The Vandals built a big lead early and held on to beat New Mexico State 57-51 in Las Cruces, N.M. Idaho (6-10, 3-2 WAC) was led by Alyssa Charlston with 13 points.
IDAHO STATE MENS BASKETBALL: The Bengals edged out a 54-53 win over Southern Utah in Cedar City, Utah. The game marked the first return to SUU for coach Bill Evans, who had coached there for 15 years. Idaho State (3-11, 2-3) was led by Tomas Sanchez with 18 points.
NORTHWEST NAZARENCE MENS BASKETBALL: The Crusaders struggled from the field in a 61-49 loss to Western Washington in Bellingham, Wash., shooting 18-of 52. Kevin Rima led NNU (9-5, 3-3 GNAC) with 12 points.
NNU WOMENS BASKETBALL: Megan Hingston scored 24 points to lead the Crusaders to an 86-69 win over Saint Martins in Nampa. Heather Adams chipped in 17 points for NNU (11-2, 3-2 GNAC).
COLLEGE OF IDAHO SWIMMING: The Coyote men and women both fell to Willamette in Salem, Ore. The men lost 121-111 and the women fell 97-52.
