A child sledding on the famous hill in Boise's North End accidentally slid into traffic on Saturday, said police.
The child's injuries were not life-threatening.
Simplot Hill on Bogus Basin Road, the former home of mogul J.R. Simplot, is a local sledding landmark. In 2004, a 14-year-old girl died of internal injuries after she fell off a block of ice while sliding down the slope.
