Idaho Housing and Finance Assn. to recognize groups caring for homeless

Published: January 12, 2013

In December, 22 organizations received funding boosts through the Avenues for Hope campaign, a project of the Idaho Housing and Finance Assn.

The campaign raised more than $100,000 for nonprofits around the state. The Home Partnership Foundation will honor seven participating organizations that will benefit from more than $75,000 in donations at a special event, 2 p.m., Monday at CATCH, Inc. 503 S. Americana Blvd. in Boise.

Leaders from the organizations, CATCH, Inc., The Jesse Tree of Idaho, Pocatello Neighborhood Housing Services, Interfaith Sanctuary, Organization Assisting the Homeless Student, Corpus Christi House and Advocates Against Family Violence will talk about the roles they play in the continuum of care process that helps and houses the homeless.
