Mike Moroski will be introduced as the Coyotes’ new coach during a press conference Wednesday, the Idaho Statesman confirmed Tuesday night.

Moroski played in the NFL for seven years (1979-1986). He has been an assistant coach at UC Davis, his alma mater, since 1988.

Moroski spent last season as the assistant head coach and running backs coach.

The NAIA program in Caldwell is restarting its program, which folded in the late 1970s. The team will begin play in the Frontier Conference in 2014.
