Shots fired as Nampa police investigate disturbance

Published: January 7, 2013

NAMPA — A SWAT team surrounded a house late Sunday night after the shots, according to Nampa Police Lt. Marv Dashiell.

Police were called to a house south of Airport Road, near North Brent Avenue and Oak Street, over a domestic issue.

Dashiell said he was not aware of any injuries as a result of the gunfire. Police shut down roads in the area while they tried to contact the suspect.

“The assumption right now is that he is in the house,” Dashiell said.
