Portland assigned Will Barton (6-foot-5, 170 pounds, Memphis) and Nolan Smith (6-2, 185, Duke) to Idaho. Barton has appeared in 28 games for the Trail Blazers this season, averaging 2.9 points. He averaged 19.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games with the Stampede in December. Smith has played in 18 Blazers games this season, contributing 2.5 points. Both are expected to be available for Idaho’s next contest against Texas in Reno on Monday.
