The Vandals mens basketball team led by eight points with less than 4 minutes remaining in regulation, but Utah State forced overtime and went on to win 82-75 on Saturday in Logan, Utah. Connor Hill led Idaho (6-7, 2-1 WAC) with 18 points, and Kyle Barone added a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds).
IDAHO WOMENS BASKETBALL: The Vandals hit a school-record 15 3-pointers, but Utah State won 91-85 in Moscow. Stacey Barr and Christina Salvatore each hit six 3-pointers for Idaho (4-10, 1-2 WAC).
IDAHO STATE MENS BASKETBALL: Melvin Morgan scored a career-high 27 points and Chris Hansen added 19 as the Bengals (2-11, 1-3 Big Sky) defeated Northern Colorado 86-63.
COLLEGE OF IDAHO MENS BASKETBALL: Sydney Donaldson hit a game-winning 3-pointer with two seconds remaining as the Coyotes capped a furious second-half rally with a 57-56 victory at Northwest Christian in Eugene, Ore. The Coyotes (9-9, 5-3 Cascade) trailed 51-40 with seven minutes to play.
COLLEGE OF IDAHO WOMENS BASKETBALL: Felicity Jones tied a career high with 25 points as the Coyotes defeated Northwest Christian 72-65 in Eugene, Ore. It was the fifth straight win for the No. 22-ranked Coyotes (11-5, 7-1 Cascade).
