Wild card weekend: NFL players with idaho ties in the playoffs

Published: January 6, 2013

RYAN CLADY, BRONCOS: The left tackle out of Boise State is expected to practice this week and play in Denver’s playoff opener Saturday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Clady didn’t participate in practice last week because of an undisclosed injury, but he hasn’t missed a game in his NFL career (drafted in 2008).

GEORGE ILOKA, BENGALS: The former Boise State safety was active for Cincinnati’s loss against Houston on Saturday. He played, but didn’t factor into the box score.

JERON JOHNSON, SEAHAWKS: Johnson, a former Boise State safety, had a pair of sacks and a forced fumble during the regular season, mostly off the bench.

MIKE IUPATI, 49ERS: The former Idaho guard was recently voted a Pro Bowl starter. He starts at left guard for the 49ers.

SHILOH KEO, TEXANS: The former Idaho defensive back had two tackles and assisted on two others in Houston’s win over Cincinnati.

JARED ALLEN, VIKINGS: The former Idaho State defensive end had six tackles — including two for loss — a sack and three QB hurries against the Packers on Saturday.

EVAN DIETRICH-SMITH, PACKERS: The former Idaho State lineman started at center for the Packers in their win against Minnesota.
