The tour bus that crashed Sunday and killed nine people on I-84 in Oregon had left Boise earlier in the day.
Jake Contor, a Pendleton resident who speaks Korean and helped translate for the Red Cross, said he had spoken with several survivors who told him the bus left Boise on Sunday morning and was supposed to arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday night.
The interstate links Boise and Portland through the Blue Mountains and the Columbia Gorge.
