For the rest of her life, Clarissa Chou will be able to say something no one else can: She was the first baby born in the Treasure Valley in 2013.
Clarissa was born to Mike and Nance Chou of Boise at 1:01 a.m. at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center.
She weighed seven pounds and 12 ounces. She was expected on Christmas Eve, but Mrs. Chou did not go into labor until 10 a.m. on New Year's Eve. St. Luke’s gave the family some welcome gifts and a $100 Target gift card
