Hugo

Hugo, 4, is a neutered male, black, tan and white, Chihuahua mix. Hugo is a sweet 14-pound little guy. He was relinquished to the shelter due to his previous owner’s health issues. He behaves a bit aloof at first, but when he learns that you’re someone he can trust he’s very friendly and affectionate. Hugo gets along well with other dogs and cats, but it is recommended that he’s supervised in situations with food and toys as he may be possessive of them. Hugo is mostly housetrained with only an occasional accident. Due to his short coat, he’s not a big fan of cold weather. But when the weather is nice, he enjoys long walks outside.

Hugo be found in kennel 308 (#11883051) at the Idaho Humane Society which is located at 4775 Dorman Street in Boise. The Idaho Humane Society shelter will be closed today, New Year’s Day. The shelter is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
