The 2013 Idaho legislature will convene the regular session on Monday, Jan. 7. To help citizens know their rights, what is allowed and what isn't on the Statehouse grounds, the ACLU of Idaho is hosting free "Know Your Rights" training.
Topics covered will include permits and rallies, public testimony/speech in and outside the Statehouse and other rights and rules for public use of the building.
There are two sessions, one on Saturday, Jan. 5 from noon to 1 p.m. as well as Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Both trainings will take place at the Idaho Statehouse in the Majority Caucus Room-E403, 700 W. Jefferson St. Boise.
