Get a healthy start in 2013 with public skating on New Year's Day, Jan. 1 at Idaho IceWorld.

The rink, 7072 S. Eisenman Road, will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for children age 12 and younger and senior citizens age 60 and older. Skate rentals are $3. Children age 3 and under pay for skate rentals only. Idaho IceWorld is a two-rink indoor arena managed by Boise Parks & Recreation. Amenities include a game arcade, 5,000-square-foot meeting room, pro shop, Joe2U coffee cart, and Blimpie’s and Chicago Connection restaurants.
