Forward Austin Smith was reassigned from Idaho to the AHL’s Texas Stars on Thursday.
Smith, 24, leads the Steelheads and ranks sixth in the ECHL with 16 goals.
In another move, the Steelheads added defenseman James Isaacs to the roster.
Isaacs attended Idaho’s training camp and played in both of its preseason games, collecting 7 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating before being released.
