Stampede can’t hold on to lead, lose to D-Fenders

Durrell Summers had 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals but Idaho fell to the Los Angeles D-Fenders 98-94 on Saturday night in California.

Idaho (1-10) led by as many as 15, but Los Angeles came back to outscore the Stampede 32-17 in the third quarter. Gary Flowers led the way for the D-Fenders with 25 points.

Idaho out-rebounded Los Angeles 53-36, and four other Idaho players scored in double-figures, including Sean Evans, who had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Holiday had 19 points, Josh Owens added 10 points and Coby Karl had 13.
