Are you planning a family reunion, wedding or company picnic this summer?
Boise Parks & Recreation will begin accepting reservations Wednesday, Jan. 2, for picnic pavilions in local parks.
The picnic shelters and Rose Garden are available by reservation from mid-April to mid-October. Facilities are reserved on a first-come, first served basis. Find the reservation request form under Reserve Park Sites at parks.cityofboise.org.
Finish the reservation by calling 608-7644 or stopping by the Boise Parks & Recreation Administration Office, 1104 Royal Blvd., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday (closed on legal holidays).
Note: Ann Morrison and Julia Davis are not available to be reserved online.
Other park shelters and picnic sites operated by Boise Parks & Recreation can be reserved up to 11 months in advance for events from mid-April to mid-October, including shelters at Cassia, Ivywild, Municipal, Phillippi, Quarry View, Veteran's Memorial Park, and Winstead parks.
Reservable picnic sites also include Camel's Back, Municipal, and Veteran's Memorial Park. Kathryn Albertson Park garden sites may be reserved up to 11 months in advance.
Fees for park sites vary according to event needs.
Boise Parks & Recreation also manages reservations for The Boise Depot, an historic landmark near downtown.
