The Vandals committed 21 turnovers as the Bulldogs rolled to a 97-62 basketball win Thursday in Spokane. Alyssa Charlston led Idaho with 21 points and six rebounds. Idaho dropped to 3-11.

IDAHO STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Bengals opened Big Sky Conference play with a 63-50 win over Portland State in Pocatello. Kaela Oakes led Idaho State (6-3, 1-0) with 16 points.

ISU MEN’S BASKETBALL: Portland State defeated the Bengals 63-49 in Portland. Melvin Morgan led Idaho State (1-8, 0-1) with 17 points.
