Police seized 106 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in Payette County Wednesday.
Kenneth Mueller, 39, of Jacksonville, Fla., is jailed on a felony drug trafficking charge, police announced Thursday.
An Idaho State Police trooper stopped Mueller about 6:50 p.m.near milepost 5 as he drove east in a 2007 Honda Ridgeline, a sport utility truck.
A Payette County sheriff's dog alerted to the odor of drugs, and police pulled packages of marijuana weighing 106 pounds from the truck, according to ISP.
The marijuana had been picked up in Washington and was headed to Illinois, according to police.
It's the third huge marijuana bust in the Treasure Valley in about a month. On Dec. 4, two men from Arkansas and a man from Indiana were arrested with 64 pounds of marijuana in Canyon County during a traffic stop on I-84.
On Nov. 20, a Fayetteville, Ark., man was arrested after Boise police found 28 pounds of marijuana in his motel room.
