Boise man arrested after half-pound of meth found in home

Citizen reports of drug activity at a home in southwest Boise led police to a half pound of methamphetamine Wednesday.

Kenneth L. Hughes, 45, was jailed on drug charges after Boise police neighborhood contact officers and state probation and parole officers searched his home in the 2400 block of South Stanley Street about noon.

Officers found 182 grams of packaged methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia. Hughes was arrested for felony trafficking in meth and a probation violation, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hughes was on probation for a felony drug conviction from 2008.
