What will open? Recent storms will allow for a limited opening with Deer Point (No. 1), Morning Star (No. 2), Showcase (No. 4), Pine Creek (No. 6), Coach (No. 7) chairlifts and both moving carpets running.
What theyre saying. It is early-season conditions, and some trails are inaccessible due to the high winds we had over the last couple of days, Alan Moore, Bogus Basin general manager, said Tuesday.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Lift tickets: Day tickets will be discounted to $30 until more of the mountain opens.
Other details: The Nordic center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All services will be available, including lessons with the Ski & Snowboard School, rental equipment at Black Diamond Sports and food/beverage services at the JR Simplot Lodge and Pioneer Lodge. As soon as conditions allow, Bogus will open nights, additional terrain and the Pepsi Gold-Rush Tubing Hill.
Get your season pass. The sales office, 2600 Bogus Basin Road, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday for those who need to pick up their leased equipment or season passes.
