Driver arrested in high-speed crash that killed Nampa girl

A man accused of driving drunk and killing a 15-year-old girl during a high-speed crash has been arrested.

Police arrested Freddy O. Camacho-Quezada, 21, at a home in the 2800 block of East Massachusetts Avenue in Nampa about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday,, according to the Caldwell Police Department.

Camacho-Quezada was charged Monday with vehicular manslaughter for a crash that killed Stephanie Rodriguez on Orchard Avenue, just east of Lake Avenue in Nampa about 5:12 a.m. Saturday.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe Camacho Quezada had been drinking. He and 21-year-old Evan J. Musquiz of Caldwell were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with injuries. Amelia Torres, 17, was airlifted to Saint Al's. and Mariah Stewart, 15, Adalina D. Torres, 17, Luis A. Padilla, 21, and Vanessa C. Flores, 14, were transported by ambulance to the West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.

Camacho-Quezada is in the Canyon County Jail on $1 million bond.
