Utah State football player arrested after bowl victory in Boise

A Utah State Aggies football player was arrested in Boise after the team's bowl victory.

Defensive lineman Sini Tauauvea, 21, was booked into the Ada County Jail about 2:30 a.m. Sunday for misdemeanor battery and trespassing.

Former player Caleb Mandale Taylor, 26, who played his senior season in 2008, also was arrested for misdemeanor battery.

Details of the arrests were not immediately available. Both men were out of jail by Monday evening.

The Aggies defeated the Toledo Rockets 41-15 Saturday in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Bronco Stadium.
