The Broncos were led by Jason Chamberlain and Jake Swartz, who each won their respective weight classes at the Reno Tournament of Champions. Brian Owen took second place in his class, and Chris Castillo and J.T. Felix earned third-place finishes.

BOISE STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Broncos lost 73-49 to the Portland Pilots on Sunday afternoon at Taco Bell Arena. Freshman Miquelle Askew led Boise State (5-5) with 14 points. Portland improved to 4-7.

IDAHO WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Vandals lost at Washington 62-48. Idaho (3-7) was led by Alyssa Charlston with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The Huskies improved to 7-3.
