One night after picking up their first win of the year, the Stampede stumbled again, losing to the Warriors on Saturday at CenturyLink Arena. Stefhon Hannah paced Santa Cruz (5-2) with 28 points and was one of six Warriors in double figures. The Stampede, who lost their first six games, were led by Justin Holiday and Coby Karl, right, who had 26 and 24 points, respectively. Karl added nine assists, and Joel Freeland, assigned to the Stampede by the Portland Trail Blazers, had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. While Idaho hit more 3-pointers than Santa Cruz (11 to 8), the Warriors hit 51 percent of their shots from the field, compared to 39 percent for the Stampede. Up next for Idaho is two games at Bakersfield this week.
