Follow Clara as she rescues the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King and embarks on a journey to the Land of Sweets, filled with dancing Angels, Flowers, Dew Drops, cakes, cookies and candy, and the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy. Artistic director Peter Anastos fills his take on the classical gem with whimsical sets, beautiful ballerinas, dashing cavaliers and energetic performances by 106 area children, all performed to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score played by Robert Franz and the Boise Philharmonic.
