Boise’s Ben Griffiths, pictured, returns home for the holidays to star in Idaho Regional Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” this weekend. Ballerina Rachel Foster and Griffiths, both of Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, will perform roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Choreographer Lisa Moon’s take on the classic holiday ballet also will feature other guest artists and students who are members of Idaho Regional Ballet, a pre-professional company housed at Eagle Performing Arts Center.
