Austin Smith scored a goal to stretch his points streak to 10 games as the Steelheads defeated the Alaska Aces 4-0 on Wednesday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Four players scored for Idaho, which jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period.

Tyler Beskorowany preserved the shutout in goal for Idaho (17-5-3). It was Idaho’s first shutout since April 9 during the first round of last season’s ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs.
