The USA national tennis team won its third world championship in the past four years this past weekend at the MasterU BNP Paribas Championships in France. The team was coached by Boise States Greg Patton and Cals Amanda Augustus. The U.S. defeated Belgium (7-0) in the quarterfinals, Russia (6-1) in the semifinals and Germany (5-2) in the finals. Patton is 11-1 as the national coach over the past four years at the event.
BSU VOLLEYBALL: Senior rightside hitter Liz Harden was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Associations honorable mention All-America list. Harden is the first Bronco volleyball player to receive the recognition.
