The team announced Tuesday the signing of Nick Johnson, who played 77 games last season with the Minnesota Wild. Johnson, 26, tallied eight goals and 18 assists last season and was invited to participate in the NHL Skills Competition during All-Star weekend. Johnson, who was the team captain his senior season at Dartmouth, also has played for the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.
