The playhouse, made by Nampa fire fighters with the donated talents and materials from local businesses, is on display at Karcher Mall to be raffled off on Dec. 13 during the Holiday Open House, 11:30 to 1 p.m. at 117 S. 9th Ave. in Caldwell.

The raffle is a fundraiser for the Children’s Voices/Third Judicial District CASA Program which operates in Canyon, Payette, Washington, Owyhee and Gem counties, providing services for abused and neglected children.

Ticket sales have been a little slow, say organizers, and they're trying to get the word out. Tickets are available at the mall, $5 apiece or five for $20.
