Idaho State Police investigating crash near Kimberly

Idaho State Police are investigating a two-car crash that happened at noon on Saturday at the intersection of State Highway 50 and 3600 East, near Kimberly.

A student driver was stopped at the stop sign at that intersection. She tried to cross SH50 heading south, but was struck by Bonnie Creech, 51, from Hansen, who was traveling west on the roadway.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and were taken to Saint Lukes Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls.

The westbound lanes of traffic of State Highway 50 were blocked for approximately two hours.
