Five Idaho authors will be signing books at a special Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association event, Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Boise Hotel & Conference Center, 3300 Vista Ave. in Boise.
Its open to the public and runs from 2:30-4 p.m. The authors featured at the book-signing are:
Jo Deurbrouck, who just received a National Outdoor Book Award for her book, Anything Worth Doing.
Bob Volpert, owner of Idaho River Journeys, and Dick Linford, with ECHO, the Wilderness Company, authors of Halfway to Halfway & Other River Stories.
Stan Potts, longtime big game outfitter, author of The Potts Factors This Olde House.
Richard Holm Jr., a commercial pilot, author of Bound for the Backcountry: A History of Idaho's Remote Airstrips.
Idaho Fish and Games December Wildlife Express has a feature on yellow perch and also recipes for cooking perch.
