Flaggers will direct traffic at the intersection through Wednesday's evening commute and possibly through the night as crews work to repair a damaged traffic signal pole, according to a statement released by the Ada County Highway District.
The district suggested some motorists may benefit from using alternative routes, including Franklin Road.
The traffic signal will continue to operate in flashing red with flaggers at the intersection directing traffic. Lane restrictions are in place for eastbound drivers on Cherry Lane near the intersection where one lane is open to traffic. Motorists should anticipate significant delays through the evening commute. Crews will likely work through the night hours to complete the pipe work and traffic signal repair.
