Duke the dog

Duke, 6, is listed as a pitbull and boxer mix. One of our fabulous shelter volunteers had this to say about Duke: “Handsome Duke was an owner surrender, a sad owner who just had to move and could not find a place to keep Duke with them. His owner said he is housebroken, great with kids (they had a 3 year old), had been good with all neighborhood dogs, plays with toys and balls, even fetches a bit, and is very lovable. Duke knows basic obedience and is very attentive. Spend time with this dog and you will see his ‘Doginality’ come through. He has been a great dog here at the shelter.” Duke is neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped. This great canine is ready and waiting to find his perfect match for the holidays!

Duke is located in kennel number 29 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on other adoptable pets, visit www.canyoncountyshelter.org.
