Boise man killed, Payette woman sent to hospital after motorcycle crash

A Boise man was killed after a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 84 just past the Eagle Road onramp.

Idaho State Police said Micah Tonn, 26, of Boise was riding a motorcycle eastbound on I-84 around 6 a.m.

Shandi Cotner, 27, of Payette was driving eastbound on I-84 when her vehicle hit Tonn's motorcycle from behind.

Tonn was pronounced dead at the scene, and Cotner was sent by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

The two right lanes of I-84 were blocked for two hours while police investigated, and both lanes opened again around 8:30 a.m.
