The first Dave and Buster's restaurant, bar and arcade in the Northwest will open next month in Boise.
Dave and Buster's is under construction in a 24,500-square-foot space at 546 N. Milwaukee St., at Boise Towne Plaza, where Idaho's first Nordstrom Rack also opened this year.
The restaurant and entertainment center will host a grand opening party Jan. 11 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25. That provides food, two drinks and $20 of play. All ticket sales will benefit the Idaho Humane Society, Special Olympics Idaho and Life's Kitchen. Ticket buyers can choose which charity gets the proceeds of their ticket purchase. Visit HowIdahoPlays.com to buy tickets and get more information.
Dave and Buster's serves American fare such as cheese fries, buffalo wings, steak and burgers. It has a full drink menu including liquor, beer and wine. The chain also markets itself as a place for parties and events. The Boise arcade will have more than 200 games.
