Mike Peck will coach his first regular-season game as the Stampede visit the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. MST. The D-Fenders are led by new coach Reggie Theus.

The Stampede have some familiar faces on their opening-day roster: Former Boise State and Stampede guard Coby Karl played the last two seasons overseas, but he has returned to Idaho and is expected to start. Another former Bronco, Jason Ellis, played five games with Idaho last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Paul Carter and Seth Tarver also played for the Stampede last season.
