Drought sinks Idaho against New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Vandals led 47-41 with 15:31 left in the game, then went ice-cold as New Mexico ran away with a 73-58 win. Connor Hill hit six 3s to lead Idaho (1-3) with 20 points, and Kyle Barone scored 16 with six rebounds while Stephen Madison was held to just nine points. Demetrius Walker’s 19 points off the bench led the Lobos (5-0), and Alex Kirk had 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

Wright State downs Idaho State

SALT LAKE CITY — Miles Dixon scored 16 points and Matt Vest added 11 and Wright State recorded a 60-45 victory over Idaho State in the Utah Thanksgiving Tournament. Wright State (4-1) held a 31-23 advantage at halftime and pulled away in the second half. Melvin Morgan scored 14 points to lead Idaho State (0-4) and Neveij Walters grabbed 10 rebounds.
